The Museum is open every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday.
Please note however that occasionally Cathedral events require the Museum to close. If you are planning a visit it is advisable to ring in advance.
Getting here
By Train:
under 70 minutes by rail from London, and less
than 20 minutes from Cambridge.
By Car:
Ely is situated on the A10 north of Cambridge.
There is a large free car park within 300 yards of
the Cathedral.
Accessibility
Our Main Gallery is located on the upper level of the
Cathedral accessed by a spiral staircase. For those unable to access the museum a
touch screen virtual visit is available on the ground floor.
