New Grant

The Stained Glass Museum is delighted to have received a grant from AIM (Association of Independent Museums) towards the purchase of a set of Hearing Helpers - assisted listening devices for those who are hard of hearing. If you know of a group who might like to visit The Stained Glass Museum but are hard-of -hearing and worried about not getting the most out of a visit to get in touch with us. We would be delighted to organise something for them.

St Mary's primary school project

The Stained Glass Museum has just completed a project with St Mary's primary school, Ely, which has resulted in this wonderful window for their entrance hall. The whole year group was involved in the making of the window - cutting glass, designing an individual element of the window and then fusing the panels. Thanks also to Althea Braithwaite who taught them and who was overall design co-ordinator for the project, Barley Studio for assembling the panel and to local joiner Bob Button for making the cabinet.

If you know of another local school who might be interested in undertaking a similar project please let us know
